An awful and moving story but, sadly, one which is probably played out more than we'd like to imagine. As a kid, I was always taught to respect differences rather than fear or shun them. I was lucky, I conformed to 'the norm' in most ways but many societies seem to want to segregate those who don't. Good on Clee for making this real.
Thanks a lot, Paul. I was also raised with a strong respect of differences, and I'm proud to say I'm doing the same with my son. Difference is richness, regardless of what a certain part of the society tries to convince people.
