Always so tough. You have some great memories, I think, judging by your photographs. RIP

It’s a horrible loss. We lost our beautiful black cat last year, to cancer, and you can’t help but hope. Somehow you think they are invincible.

Yep, the problem is that, unless they get really sick, they don't seem to get old. And then they suddenly are.

So true. It comes as a real shock. Time heals of course and now I mostly remember the love and empathy she was. I’m sorry for your loss. Our babies are wonderful creatures.

Thank you! We now have three playful Bengals. It’s different and I won’t forget my girl, but they definitely keep us entertained

Matteo, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful furry friend. I lost two that were with me for 14 years back in 2022-2023.

15 years creates quite a bond, I'm sorry for your loss. My 15yr old cat, Loa, died 7 weeks ago of pneumonia, I still miss her little footsteps in the house, her paws on my shoulder when I go to bed and her pleas for attention when I'm reading. She's gone forever, but the imprint of all the good memories still make me happy.

I'm so sorry to hear the news, Matteo. When my wife and I got together, she had 6 cats and, one by one, we lost them. The only consolation is that I'm sure you gave her a great life, as we did with our little monsters...!

It’s never easy even if you think you are ready. I’m sorry for your loss. But don’t worry about your last decisions. She had a great life, clearly. And you did what you thought was right at the time, and that’s all a person can do.

Oh Matteo I have had those very same emotions when I "lost" my beautiful cat Duchess. I rescued her from certain death badly injured and living in the streets. She was my companion and my friend for more than 10 years and mored from home to home, and from state to state with me. I cried for days.

There's a place in our heart that's only reserved for our fur friends, nothing else fits there. All you have now is the memories and the knowledge that you shared a part of each other life together. 💔
